Kara Tointon introduces “wonderful” baby son’s name
Former EastEnders star Kara Tointon has revealed the name of her second child.
Earlier this month, the Strictly Come Dancing winner revealed the happy news that she had welcomed a baby boy with her fiancé, Marius Jensen.
The pair also share two-year-old son Frey — and in a new interview with Hello!, the Dawn Swann actress revealed her “wonderful” baby son’s name is Helly Juel Parsell Jensen.
“He is an incredibly cool little man,” Kara said.”He is very zen, he has a calming effect. He is so chilled and wonderful.”
Explaining that Helly’s second middle name Parsell is actually a tribute to the maiden name of her late mother Carol, who tragically passed away in 2019, Kara also revealed the baby was born on via elective Caesarean.
The revelation comes after Kara previously confirmed Helly was born on January 8.
On giving birth amid the coronavirus pandemic, she added: “This time it was kind of strange knowing we had the date for going into hospital and to know the birth would be that morning.
“They are keen to get people out of hospital as soon as they can with all that is going on.”
“It was so strange as it seemed almost deserted, but we were both so aware that on the other side of the hospital it must have been pandemonium.
“It is amazing what they are all doing right now.”
