Soccer star Alex Morgan and her husband, Servando Carrasco, welcomed their first child, daughter Charlie Elena Carrasco, on May 7th. Morgan announced the happy news on Instagram two days after her daughter’s birth, writing: “At 1130am on May 7 weighing 8lbs5oz, Charlie Elena Carrasco made her grand entrance into the world. She made us wait longer than expected, but I should have known she would do it her way and her way only. My super moon baby.”

Ruthie Ann Miles
Tony Award-winning actress Ruthie Ann Miles took to Instagram on May 9th to reveal the birth of her daughter, Hope Elizabeth. The announcement is especially joyful considering that it comes more than two years after Miles suffered a terrible tragedy, losing her 5-year-old daughter and unborn baby after they were all struck by a driver in Brooklyn, NY.
Miles didn’t share baby Hope’s birthdate, but did caption her post, “? 3 generations of April Babies ?”
